FOLCA is a group of parents, carers, staff and community members working together to support Looe Community Academy, helping create more opportunities for students, strengthen connections with the local community, celebrate the achievements of our students and help make school life more enriching and enjoyable for everyone.

Our Aims

Support students with opportunities beyond the classroom

• Strengthen links between the school and the wider community
• Raise funds for meaningful projects and resources
• Create positive, inclusive experiences for all students

What We’re Working On

We are currently focusing on:

• Planning future fundraising and community events
• Exploring initiatives and opportunities that support student wellbeing, creativity and careers.

All parents, carers and community members are welcome to attend. There is no commitment required — just come along and see what it’s about.

Upcoming Events

We are beginning to plan a range of events to bring students, families and the community together.
Supporting the Dance Show on 2 April with refreshments. All donations of cakes are welcome – please drop into the office.

We are at the early stages, but our focus is on creating lasting, meaningful improvements for students and building stronger links between the school and the community.
